With these materials you can learn almost everything you want to know about composting, solid waste reduction, ground water contamination, hazardous materials disposal, recycling, polluiton prevention and many more topics. Recycling at School - DMASWA provides recycling bins to schools in Dubuque County. Recycling is a great way for schools to do their part in reducing the amount of waste sent to the DMASWA Landfill while teaching students about environmental stewardship. Teacher Learning Opportunities - The DMASWA Education Office works closely with the University of Northern Iowa's Center for Energy and Environmental Education. They provide workshops, lesson plans, books and other educational resources.
