Education & Outreach

Environmental Education Is Good for Our Community.

We believe in environmental education and support many outstanding initiatives that teach others about composting, solid waste reduction, groundwater contamination, pollution prevention and many similar topics. We offer programs like the Green Vision Education program, which recognizes schools that practice pollution prevention, recycling, energy efficiency and waste reduction. Presentations and tours provide yet additional unique learning opportunities.

The Education Office is a partnership between DMASWA and Loras College, providing solid waste reduction resources for educators and the general public. We’re ready to tell you more about these and other ways we support environmental education. Contact the Education Coordinator by email or by calling 563-588-7933.
