REGIONAL COLLECTION CENTER FOR HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTES OPEN FOR THE SEASON

Household hazardous wastes (HHW) such as oil-based paint, motor oil, lawn chemicals, and other chemicals, should not be disposed of in trash cans, floor drains, or storm sewers. These items should be brought to the Dubuque Metropolitan Area Solid Waste Agency (DMASWA) Regional Collection Center (RCC) for safe disposal. This service is FREE to Dubuque and Delaware county households. Beginning April 1st, materials can be dropped off anytime between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday....

Dubuque Metropolitan Area Solid Waste Agency's Fiscal Year 2016 Financial Statement Released

Eide Bailly LLP today released an audit report on the Dubuque Metropolitan Area Solid Waste Agency. The Agency's revenues totaled $4,363,307 for the year ended June 30, 2016. The revenues include $4,249,848 in charges for sales and services.Expenses totaled $2,421,055 and include $1,559,961 for supplies and services, $1,390,192 for employee expense, and a negative expense of $1,824,351 for closure and post closure care.A copy of the audit report is available for review is available at...
