Where is Away?

Students will be able to describe what happens to the materials that are put into the trash and how processes are in place to minimize the environmental impacts of the landfill. They will also learn ways to change their own behavior and why it's important to reduce the materials going to the landfill.

Who Polluted the River?

Students participate in an interactive story and learn how many of our rivers have become polluted. This lesson demonstrates that just as we each contribute to the problem, we can also each be part of the solution.

We All Live in a Watershed

Students are given the opportunity to dream about what they would do with land that is given to them. Discussion follows regarding the impacts of human activities on the ecosystem around our human activities.
